These New Puritans’ last video, for the lushly orchestrated “Fragment Two,” explored a gloomy, glacial landscape. Now, the British art-rock outfit have shared a new clip for a second Field of Reeds song that transports them to an all-white abyss, an eerie Phantom Zone that somehow suits a neoclassical trio with avant-pop chops. Directed by Willy Vanderperre, the “Organ Eternal” short features footage of the band performing the spiraling single interspersed with meditative close-ups of trees and grass à la Terrence Malick’s The Tree of Life. The nearly six-minute piece ends with a transfixing shot of a woman running off into the distance, disappearing beyond view. Watch it all above.
