Now that colossal parading rockers My Chemical Romance’s guitarist Frank Iero has recovered from his sudden attack of illness,the band has endured another lineup issue, now, with bassist Mikey Way.Mikey, the brother of MCR frontman Gerard Way, has announced that hewill be taking a break from the band to spend time with his new wife.Gerard elaborated via a band web site post:
“I’m very proud toannounce my brother’s recent marriage. Watching him grow up into a manand finding love makes me the happiest brother alive. In light of thisjoyous event, the band has decided to give he and his wife amuch-needed break from the road to start a life and have a properhoneymoon and do all of the things a newlywed couple should do. I knowthis is upsetting news, as it is for us, but we will continue to tourwith a temporary replacement until he has situated himself in his newlife.”
No announcements regarding Mikey Way’s replacement have yet been announced.
