Missy Elliott has mashed in her own lyrics to Lady Sovereign’s scorching single, “Love Me or Hate Me,” lending her buttery flow to the otherwise grimy track. In the original, which is featured on S-O-V’s Def Jam debut Public Warning, the self-proclaimed “biggest midget in the game” rhymes about her lack of assets (“I’m the one with the non-existent bum”), but in the remix, Missy encourages disagreeable listeners to kiss hers.
