Bono to Be First Guest on Dave Stewart HBO Show

The U2 frontman will be the first musician to appear on the Eurythmics member's upcoming interview show.

Bono will be Dave Stewart’s first guest on his upcoming HBO music-centric interview show. The U2 frontman, who performed at the official reopening of the Superdome in New Orleans Monday (Sept. 25), will be featured in the first of six half-hour episodes of the still-untitled show, set to begin airing early next year, according to Reuters. On the show, which is described as “musicians on musicians,” Stewart will interview fellow artists about their craft. The Eurythmics member will executive produce and Interscope head Jimmy Iovine is listed as one of the show’s producers.
