Earlier this month, SPIN debuted "I Heard," a gorgeously taut slab of soul-rap penned by Scotland's Young Fathers. The Edinburgh trio are prepping the sequel to their bewitching Anticon Records debut, TAPE ONE, a short but sweet mix of TV on the Radio-style pop harmonics and Shabazz Palaces-type rhyming. Expect the experiment to continue on TAPE TWO, due out June 11. In honor of that occasion, "I Heard" has gotten a video treatment that highlights its innate existential strangeness. Seen above, the dark clip explores madness as people shout without being heard and members of the band are restrained by men in suits. As with January's "Romance" video, the group directed this one themselves, underscoring the preference for bleak scenery and enticing enigma that also runs through their songs.
