INTERVIEWSWATCH IT: Gorillaz Cover the xx

Damon Albarn and the Gorillaz stopped by BBC Radio 1 to perform a three-song set, including their new single "Doncamatic" and "On Melancholy Hill." But the highlight of their appearance was a gorgeous, acoustic cover of the xx's "Crystalised." Watch it below.

The xx's original was already a spare song, but Albarn and his band manage to strip it back even further, performing the track with nothing more than acoustic guitar, piano, and xylophone. Nice!
