Speedy Ortiz Get Creepy With Cartoons in 'American Horror' Video

Tentacles and demons abound in slack-pop story of terror in the U.S.A.

Speedy Ortiz have shared a spooky video for "American Horror," a track from their Real Hair EP that landed in the top 10 of SPIN's 57 Best Songs of 2014... So Far. Above, director Peter Binswanger creates a gauntlet of supernatural terrors broadcasted from within the imaginations of each band member, spinning an optical whirlwind accompanied by super-imposed animations. We already know the Massachusetts slack-pop posse has an aptitude to get weird in the woods, so watch above to see their antics become a bit more bone-chilling.
