Lots of musicians tweet -- but all that Twitters is not gold.

That's why you'll want to check out SPIN.com every Friday to see whose tweets we're reading this week -- then update your TweetDeck! (Obligatory Self-Promotion: While you're at it, be sure to follow @SPINmagazine!)

This week's winners:

Who: Pink (@Pink)

Why You Should Follow: Pink is a firecracker. At last Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, she performed her song "Sober" while swinging on a trapeze (and risking a serious wardrobe malfunction), and after Kanye West stormed the stage during Taylor Swift's Female Video of the Year acceptance speech, she took to Twitter to call him a "piece of shit."

It's not the first time the formerly fuschia-haired singer has given someone a tweet-down -- she's used Twitter to call the paparazzi "cockroaches" and urge Philadelphia Eagles fans to tear new quarterback Michael Vick to pieces, "just like his beloved dogs." Now that Internet feud queen Courtney Love has started making occasional snide comments about Pink on her own Twitter, a full-scale war of tweets could be just around the corner. Plus, the singer's on tour -- and her stage show is awesome.

Best Tweet of the Week: "Kanye west is the biggest piece of shit on earth. Quote me."

Who: Phantom Planet's Alex Greenwald (@ALECKSU)

Why You Should Follow:Phantom Planet has been on hiatus since last November, but shaggy-haired frontman Alex Greenwald hasn't slowed down a bit. He has a solo album in the works and recently recorded a few songs with ex-Panic at the Disco members Ryan Ross and Jon Walker for their debut album as the Young Veins. He's also become quite the personality on Twitter, known for his witty wordplay and hilarious exchanges with @thisisryanross, @iamjonwalker, and a bevy of leggy supermodels who tweet between photo shoots.

Expect lots of references to "ponytail grooving," "psychic high-fiving," and "high surf zone shenanigans," as well as fun facts about Stylophones and nachos, and plenty of jokes gone wrong ("What's the difference between my brain and a soiled diaper? ......................Nothing!"). Bonus points: He uses Twitter to post album art, track listings, and the occasional free mp3 -- score!

Best Tweet of the Week: "Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis looks effed up backwards: sisoinoconaclovociliscipocsorcimartluonomuenP."

Who: Mark Ronson (@iammarkronson)

Why You Should Follow: With his dapper suits and quiet, nerdy public persona, it comes as no surprise that Mark Ronson's tweets are full of understated wit and tongue-in-cheek humor. The highly regarded producer (best known for jump-starting Amy Winehouse's career, palling around with Lily Allen, and playing a whole menagerie of instruments) is a genuine delight to follow. He doesn't tweet often, but when he does, it's usually something brilliant and funny, like a story about accidentally agreeing to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro for charity or the stunning realization that Whitney Houston's "Greatest Love of All" could, in fact, be about horse-raping.

Best Tweet of the Week: "goodbye cigarettes, alcohol, recreational pharmaceuticals. hello, um, whatever else is left...cheese plates?"
