Vampire Weekend have been palling around with Steve Buscemi for weeks now. The New York four-piece hung out with the Boardwalk Empire star on Easter (they even painted eggs together), and soon after announced that Buscemi will be directing a live webcast of the band's April 28 concert at New York City's Roseland Ballroom as part of American Express' Unstaged series. Since then, the Sopranos alum has been doling out advice to the Modern Vampires of the City via an ongoing series of promo videos; Buscemi even cast NYC Public Advocate (and mayoral candidate) Bill de Blasio in one clip, asking the pol to give Ezra Koenig and the boys a pep-talk on self-promotion.

In the above short, Buscemi continues to spread the word about his collaboration with VW by handing out flyers and chatting with bowlers at Brooklyn's Melody Lanes ("If you like rap, I think you're going to love them," he tells someone). Unfortunately, Buscemi can't get Vampire Weekend to focus on the task at hand — they're too busy munching on snacks, quoting The Big Lebowski, and knocking down pins to talk themselves up. The Reservoir Dogs MVP eventually freaks out, because, as usual, Mr. Pink is the only one acting like a professional.
