Sky Ferreira aimed for the feels with her shimmery Blood Orange-penned bleeder “Everything Is Embarrassing,” but the video is pointed squarely at the crotch (and, by extension, the crotch points back). Surprisingly, the brooding, pouty, black-and-white clip isn’t the work of Dov Charney — Grant Singer, who last worked with DIIV, directs. Filmed against a Los Angeles backdrop of rooftops, playgrounds, and sad-face subway rides, Ferreira’s lip-dub is less “performance” than it is an extended audition for, and costumed by, American Apparel.

“Everything Is Embarrassing” comes off the all-of-a-sudden indie It-girl’s upcoming Ghost EP, out via Capitol October 16. Shirley Manson, Cass McCombs, Jon Brion, Greg Kurstin, and Ariel Rechtshaid helped put it together. The track list follows:

1. “Sad Dream”
2. “Lost in My Bedroom”
3. “Ghost”
4. “Red Lips”
5. “Everything Is Embarrassing”
