Skeletons & the Kings of All Cities Invade Coney Island

Video

Spring may be here, but if you've still got any lingering traces of Seasonal Affective Disorder, the lazy, hazy video for Skeletons & the Kings of All Cities' "What They Said" might be just what the doctor ordered. Formerly known as Skeletons & the Girl-Faced Boys, the motley crew of rotating musicians helmed by Matt Mehlan returns for more experimental instrumentation and inventive arrangements on the forthcoming album, LUCAS. The clip for "What They Said" captures the vibrancy of a summertime Coney Island crowd, replete with dancers, carnival rides, and beach bums. Eagle-eyed video viewers can catch glimpses of situational irony ("Keep Off Jetty") and even a Hulk Hogan sighting. LUCAS will haunt stores May 8 on the Ghostly International imprint.
