A Moogified rendition of the 2010 track from 'The Orchard'

You’ve seen Little Dragon, Twin Shadow, and the Antlers reinvent tunes in the Moog Sound Lab — the spot in Asheville, North Carolina devoted to celebrating the electronic musical innovations of Bob Moog — and today SPIN presents Ra Ra Riot’s contribution to the cause, a Moog-ed up rendition of “Boy” from 2010’s The Orchard. As a bonus, check out the band’s take on “Oh La” from 2008’s The Rhumb Line on the Moog site.

Want to know what went into this particular Riot? Here’s a sampling of the gear: the Analog Delay Moogerfooger, a Moog Guitar running through an Analog Delay Moogerfooger, Moog’s iPad app Animoog, the Minimoog Voyager XL, and the awesomely named Moog Little Phatty.
