See the Only ‘Live’ Adele You’ll Get for the Near Future
British singer unleashes trailer for live DVD while recovering from vocal cord surgery
Adele would like to remind everyone that when she doesn’t have a busted vocal cord from chit-chatting offstage, she does indeed sing. She’d also like you to stuff your Christmas stocking with her live CD/DVD Live at the Royal Albert Hall, which is arriving on November 29. So she has released a trailer for the disc and announced 26 live premieres at movie theaters across the globe. As her official website.
Adele is currently convalescing, recovering from laser surgery to remove a polyp on one of her valuable vocal cords. As SPIN previously reported, Adele’s sore pipes forced her to cancel all remaining 2011 live appearances and gigs, as she told fans in a blog post, “if i continue to pick up everything before i have properly conquered these problems and nipped them in the bud. i will be totally and utterly fucked.” Adele still has the top-selling album of 2011, so it’s safe to say nobody wants that.
