Punk collective OFF!'s brief, bilious self-titled album forcefully updates classic hardcore tropes. The newest video for the album reaches back to a similar era, to painfully hilarious effect, with acting help from Kids in the Hall/Newsradio funnyman Dave Foley. Directed by Whitey McConnaughy, whose previous OFF! video made prominent use of a portable cassette player, the latest clip interweaves OFF! scorchers "Borrow and Bomb" and "I Got News for You" with watery, VHS-style, faux-public-access TV footage. Foley hosts an awkward discussion of punk on a show called Teen Talk, and it all ends with an OFF!-blasted dance-aerobics sequence. So it's good and good for you.
