Paramore to Record New Album Next Year
Hayley Williams says the band will cut their new disc in home state of Tennessee after South American tour concludes.
Paramore spent most of the year touring the world behind their monster album Brand New Eyes. But a new year brings new projects: Singer Hayley Williams and the band are set to begin work on their fourth album in 2011.
Williams says Paramore will write and record the new album in their home state of Tennessee. “We like to do it at home mostly,” Williams told MTV. “We like to wait and kind of really focus on the records when we have time off.”
While guitarist Taylor York admitted the band had mixed feelings about moving on to the next phase – “We’re kind of at the end of this record but it’s bittersweet,” he said. – Williams is ready for the challenge. “[This year has] just been, like, one thing after another,” she said. “[It’s been] high climb, and I hope we get to keep climbing for a little bit longer.”
Before the band retires to the studio, they’ll head to South America for a ten-date tour, which wraps on March 4 in Caracas, Venezuela.
