In “things to shake your head at today,” that Nirvana/Paul McCartney reunion song “Cut Me Some Slack” is now the soundtrack to a new Ralph Lauren cologne commercial. As the guitar-heavy cut blares in the background with the former Beatle standing in for the late Kurt Cobain, a chisled, popped-collar David Hasselhoff-esque guy zooms down what can only be the Autobahn in a slick whip. Finally, Hoff’s doppelgänger ends up meeting his fairy tale-hot main squeeze in a boat, because that’s what wearing cologne will get you. Promise. See for yourself above.
