Dave Hartley's Nightlands, one of SPIN's 5 Best New Artists for January, has frequented this site a ton lately thanks to his stellar new album Oak Island: First he took us on a tour of his native Fishtown, then he dropped his "I Fell in Love With a Feeling" video, and then he talked about his efforts to get San Antonio Spurs' center Matt Bonner in the NBA All-Star Weekend's Three-Point Shootout. Today brings another goodie from the War on Drugs bassist: Oak Island standout "Nico," served up three different ways. We're familiar with the album version, but Hartley also posted the vocal-only rendition and an instrumental take to give us a lesson in how the entire song came together. That's the album version up top, check out the other two at Secretly Canadian's YouTube page. And while you're doing that, don't forget to pledge your support to #LetBonnerShoot.
