Music industry babies are so hot right now. And My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way is the latest to announce that he's joining the dad crowd.

Way and his wife, Lindsey Ann Ballato, a.k.a. Lyn-Z, the bassist for New York punk band Mindless Self Indulgence, are expecting their first child in early summer 2009 [via NME.com].

Congrats to the happy couple and their forthcoming little one. We know a lovely couple who might be interested in a play date.
