If Lykke Li is serious about filling her upcoming album with smoldering "power ballads," of course she needs a love-story music video. The first clip from I Never Learn, for the aching acoustic plea "Love Me Like I'm Not Made of Stone," was essentially a video portrait. "No Rest for the Wicked" starts as a similarly spare plaint, centered around delicate piano then builds to a rumble of chorus as crushing as it is hopelessly crushed (free blurb: "Lykke Li puts the 'power' in 'power ballad'!). But the accompanying visuals just showed wilting flowers. Now longtime collaborator Tarik Saleh has directed a more traditional video, and it's the narrative treatment the song deserves, a fraught tale starring the singer as one half of a doomed romance. The clip is above, and I Never Learn is out May 6 in North America  and May 5 elsewhere via LL/Atlantic.
