Listen: TV on the Radio Remix Nat King Cole

The Brooklyn crazies turn a 1940s classic into a psychedelic assault!

First they covered Bowie. Now TV on the Radio are applying their experimental minds to another classic musician — Nat King Cole!

The Brooklyn band, who blurred genres with their eclectic 2008 hit Dear Science, have remixed Cole’s “Nature Boy” for the forthcoming compilation Re: Generations, out March 10.

The TVOTR boys pair atmospheric, computer-generated sounds, relentless beats, and industrial-rock screeches that recall the last Nine Inch Nails record with Cole’s smooth croon about the lessons of the heart: “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return,” he sings.
