If Lil Wayne's constant retirement chatter is to be trusted, then the long and winding road to his final record, Tha Carter V, began last night with the release of "Believe Me."

With fellow Young Money associate Drake in tow, Wayne luxuriates over the track's five-and-a-half minutes, casually subduing his verses to line up with Drake's dozy contributions. As MTV reports, Boi-1da and Vinylz handled the production, crafting a track subtle enough for the duo to coast over.

Wayne seems a whole lot less burnt out than he did anywhere on Tha Carter IV, and given a number of his recent appearances, this 'final' record seems worth being cautiously optimistic about.
