Details for the 51st annual Grammy Awards ceremony have been announced, and Lil Wayne, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Kenny Chesney, and the Jonas Brothers will all perform at the event, set for Sunday, Feb. 8, at Los Angeles' Staples Center. The show will be broadcast on CBS from 8-11:30 P.M. (EST).

New Orleans-bred rapper Wayne leads the Grammy field with eight nominations, including nods for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album for Tha Carter III. He also is in running for Best Rap Solo Performance ("A Milli") and has two nods in Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group for his collaboration with T.I. on "Swagga Like Us" and Jay-Z on "Mr. Carter."
Former SPIN cover boys Coldplay follow with seven nominations: Record of the Year and Best Rock Album for their blockbuster Viva La Vida, Song of the Year ("Viva La Vida"), and Best Rock Song ("Violet Hill").
Jonas Brothers and feud-starting faux lesbian Katy Perry, meanwhile, are nominated in one category each: Jonas Brothers for Best New Artist and Katy Perry for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance ("I Kissed A Girl").
