Every year in celebration of their pleasantly demented music festival Gathering of the Juggalos, the Insane Clown Posse put together a lengthy informercial as a means of announcing the lineup. This year's iteration arrived last night and features a tragically departed Juggalo who finds himself barred from hell because, well, he's a Juggalo. He's shuttled back to heaven where an apologetic St. Peter-like dude tells him the wonders of this year's fest, which apparently takes place right there in Shangri-La.
It's an appropriately out-there clip for an always insane weekend. In addition to the whole Psychopathic Records crew (including, obviously, ICP), this year's iteration of the fest features Yelawolf, Hopsin, Cannibal Corpse, Cypress Hill, and Digital Underground's Shock G among others. Also, Gilbert Godfried, who appears in the informercial reading a selection from 50 Shades of Gray, will be featured on the comedy stage. As ever there'll be dancing and wrestling, and our dead Juggalo is ickily promised loads of women.
This year's Gathering takes place July 23 through 27 at the Legend Valley Concert Venue in Thornville, Ohio. This is the first Gathering at this location after the festival was ousted from its longtime home in Cave-in-Rock, Illinois and community pushback forced it out of its previously announced 2014 home in Kaiser, Missouri. You can watch the whole commercial above and snag tickets at the fest's website, if you dare.
