One of the great things about South By Southwest is the convergence of every corner of the music world encourages collaborative performances between artists that may never have had the opportunity to team up. R&B jazz performer Robert Glasper and his band the Robert Glasper Experiment have worked with singer Erykah Badu before — their song, "Afro Blue," appears on Glasper's Grammy-winning 2012 album Black Radio — but they had never appeared onstage together until this year, thanks to Sonos Studio's set-up at SXSW. Watch Glasper explain why he has devoted his career to collaboration as his band and Badu perform "Afro Blue" live for the first time.
