While we patiently await the release of Eminem’s new album, Relapse (keeping ourselves busy with his new book Eminem: The Way I Am, out today), the Comeback Kid isn’t offering much in the way of encouragement for the music that’s currently available. “I don’t mean everything about rap is crap,” he told BBC Radio 1. “I just mean the majority of it.”

But Eminem, a.k.a. Marshall Mathers, isn’t all doom and gloom. There are a few endorsements he’s willing to give. “Actually I think T.I.’s new album is great and I’ve been pumping that for the last two weeks every day in my car aside from my own stuff as I record it,” he said, adding, “Andre 3000 is also incredible.” And don’t forget about Obama. “I will vote for Barack Obama,” the rapper revealed. “Pardon the cliché but we need something to change. I think Barack would be a breath of fresh air.”
