Download Cloud Nothings’ Punkiest New Song ‘Stay Useless’

The Cleveland lo-fi sensations are more tightly wound than ever on this 'Attack On Memory' jammer

Cleveland lo-fi menace Cloud Nothings have returned with the second taste of their upcoming sophomore album Attack on Memory, due January 24 on the usually bliptacular Carpark Records. We already heard “No Future, No Past,” maybe the most Albini thing Albini has produced this decade. And today they bless us with the album’s shortest track, the upbeat and still-sorta-brooding “Stay Useless,” a rollicking vintage jam that sounds like some weird mixtape pile-up of Psychedelic Furs, Dead Milkmen, and Archers of Loaf. It’s so much retromania that Yuck better duck!
