From Peter, Bjorn and John's Peter Morén to Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore, to Tilly and Wall guitarist Derek Pressnall's project Flowers Forever, going solo was name of the game at SXSW '08. Circa Survive frontman Anthony Green joined the pack, surprising SPIN.com with a vast departure from his band's epic wall of sound on a new assortment of acoustic ditties.
