Broken Bells Map First Tour

After playing a bunch of shows at March’s SXSW conference in Texas, Shins frontman James Mercer and production whiz Brian “Danger Mouse” Burton will take their collaborative project, Broken Bells, on the road this Spring.

At SXSW, a gig at Austin’s spacious outdoor venue Stubb’s failed to capture the delicate, cinematic sound of the band’s self-titled debut. But this 16-date tour is mostly indoors, which should enhance the impact of Mercer’s reverb-drenched vocals and Burton’s spooky arrangements.
