The Shondes Think You’re ‘Everything Good’

Having a reputation for producing anthems can be a bit of a heavy burden but somehow the Shondes, one of Brooklyn’s finest feminist punk bands, always deliver. New song “Everything Good” comes from their upcoming album Brighton, out September 16 on Exotic Fever, and it’s a badass love song that begs to be belted out. The song starts with violinist Elijah Oberman wailing over electric guitar, and builds to a pop-punk frenzy as vocalist Louisa Rachel Solomon sings out “I think it could be our finest hour if we challenged all this power/ I looked into the darkness blue and it’s you, you, you.”
