Modernist blues songwriter Gary Clark Jr. will release his fourth studio LP The Story of Sonny Boy Slim on September 11, and in support he made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night. The Austin-born singer/guitarist performed his music-can-save-the-world slow jam “The Healing” along with a heaping helping of steamy guitar soloing and fizzling harmonies care of a crew of backup vocalists.
