Stars Sip Champagne Till Sunrise in Booze-Fueled ‘From the Night’ Video

Canadian quintet toasts upcoming 'No One Is Lost' album, out October 14

A few weeks ago, Stars shared “From the Night,” the lead single from the Canadian band’s upcoming seventh album, No One Is Lost. A joyous ode to staying out (and staying young), the song’s thesis of let’s-worry-about-everything-tomorrow is distilled in its chorus: “I don’t care if we never come back from the night.” Now, the indie-pop vets have shared a video for the track and, as expected, the clip follows Stars through a night of drinking, dancing, laughing, and just having a good time in general. (Plus, someone’s wearing a bunny-mascot head. Not sure if that’s a bonus, but it’s a fact.) “We went out, like we always do, we got drunk, like we sometimes do, we saw friends that we don’t see enough and we filmed it all,” co-lead singer and songwriter Torquil Campbell told SPIN. “Enjoy.”

Heed his advice and watch the Darren Curtis-directed visual above, and pre-order Stars’ No One Is Lost — which is out October 14 via ATO Records — on iTunes.
