When are the Grammys? Due to Presidents' Day, the Grammy Awards will air on Monday, February 15 this year, with the broadcast starting at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. Unlike in previous years, the show will air live on the West Coast, so tune in at 5 p.m. PST to watch. The pre-telecast, during which they actually give out the vast majority of the awards, starts streaming at 3:30 p.m. EST from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Should I watch the pre-telecast? Unless you deeply care about the nominees in the non-major awards, nah. It's a slog. Comedian Jay Mohr, who is nominated for the Best Comedy Album Grammy for Happy. And a Lot is hosting, but they just have to get through so many awards that it's not that fun to watch. He has 11 in total, including Best Rap Album, and his track "Alright" is up for Song of the Year, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video. Taylor Swift and the Weeknd are tied for second, with seven nominations apiece. Who has the least nominations? Rita Ora is tied with roughly seven billion people worldwide for having the least number of Grammy nominations this year, as she is up for zero awards. Who is going to win? Who should win?
