Good Charlotte Working on Fourth Album

Good Charlotte has started working on its fourth album, according to a post on the band’s official site from guitarist Billy Martin. “We are all done writing and demoing for this album and have started tracking the final album songs,” Martin wrote. “Everything is going great and we have some really amazing songs that I’m sure you will love.” The new album, which will be the follow-up to 2004’s The Chronicles of Life and Death, was initially set for an October release, but that date has since been pushed back. No new date has been set yet. The Maryland-born band will let fans in on the recording process via their website in a section which will include pictures, videos, and other updates, according to Martin’s post.

Talk: Will the band’s fourth album stray further into pop or mark a return to the band’s heavier roots? COMMENT
