It’s official: Green Day has a new album on the way. Titled Saviors, the band’s 14th studio album is out on Jan. 19, 2024 through longtime label Reprise/Warner Records. It was produced by frequent Green Day collaborator Rob Cavallo and was recorded in London and Los Angeles.

Over the weekend at a small club show in Las Vegas and at the When We Were Young festival, the band debuted a pair of new singles from the project: “The American Dream Is Killing Me” and “Look Ma, No Brains.” A zombie-themed video for the latter is out now and was directed by Brendan Walter and Ryan Baxley.

“As soon we cut it, we said, `Okay, that’s going first,’” says Billie Joe Armstrong of “American Dream,” which he describes as “a look at the way the traditional American Dream doesn’t work for a lot of people — in fact, it’s hurting a lot of people.”

Next year, Green Day will be touring U.S. stadiums with Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and the Linda Lindas. Dates for the tour have yet to be revealed.

The band’s previous album, Father of All… was released in early 2020.
