Three people were injured Saturday during the Lovers & Friends Festival in Las Vegas. As Hollywood Reporter reports, a large group of attendees fled the Las Vegas Festival Grounds after gunfire was reportedly heard at about 10 p.m.

“At this time, there is no evidence of a shooting and the initial report has been deemed unfounded,” police said in a statement.

The victims were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries. Festival organizers displayed a message on screens in the venue that said there was a security incident, authorities were investigating and to remain in place, officials said. The accident resulted in a halt of performances; however, music ended up resuming later.

Festival organizers attribute the incident to fans rushing the barricades, and said that Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris’ headlining set went on as scheduled.

At 11:50 p.m. the Lovers & Friends Festival Twitter handle shared a message announcing music had resumed.

“Festival Update: Performances have resumed,” the message read. “Las Vegas Metro PD Investigated reports of a security incident and determined there was a false alarm. The festival has been given clearance to continue. We’d like to thank the local authorities for their quick response.”

Lovers & Friends Festival is a two-day event paying homage to throwback R&B and hip-hop. Each day boasts the same lineup, which also includes Lauryn Hill, TLC, Monica, Nelly, Timbaland with Snoop Dogg, Fat Joe, Juvenile, Ciara, Lil Kim and more.

Brandy was supposed to be on the bill but had to pull out last minute due to illness. Sunday’s scheduled is slated to go on as planned.
