Rock bands come in all shapes and sizes. This much we know. But, As You Were are way different than any other band on the planet. Why? Outside of face-melting solos and infectious grooves, every member of the band is an active duty soldier in the United States Army. In this Artist Introspective, As You Were breaks down how they’re changing perceptions about the intersection of artistry and the military, showing how the US Army is more than just about fighting.
