Superorganism announced plans to release their second album and shared its first single, “Teenager.” Not enough news? If that’s the case, you’re in luck as the group also revealed plans for a fall tour.

World Wide Pop is slated for release on July 15 and is the band’s first new music since their 2018 self-titled debut. Superorganism recruited a number of heavy-hitting collaborators for the 13-track record, including Stephen Malkmus, Chai, Pi Ja Ma, Dylan Cartlidge, and Gen Hoshino.

“Teenager” celebrates the raw passion of those formative years, and the band tapped former tour mates Chai and Pi Ja Ma for support on the track. It was produced by Stuart Price (Madonna, The Killers), and its AEVA-directed video features actor and comedian Brian Jordan Alvarez.

The ticket presale for the tour begins Tuesday, March 8 and the general ticket sale begins at 10 am local on Thursday, March 16.

World Wide Pop is available for preorder on vinyl, cassette, and digitally now.
