Father John Misty has released a wistful, warmhearted single, “Goodbye Mr. Blue” to appear on his forthcoming album Chloë and the Next 20th Century. This evening, Misty and his band will perform the new track on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The album will also feature the singles “Funny Girl,” “Q4” and “Kiss Me (I Loved You),” released earlier this year. Chloë and The Next 20th Century will be released on April 8th, 2022 via Sub Pop worldwide, and from Bella Union in Europe. The album is available for preorder and pre-save now.

The release marks the first album from Father John Misty since 2018’s God’s Favorite Customer. The seasoned singer-songwriter will celebrate Chloë and The Next 20th Century’s release with two sold-out performances in the intimate and iconic venue Rainbow Room in New York City along with performances in Kingston, UK.
