Basilica Soundscape, the cult-favorite festival of heavy and experimental music in New York’s Hudson Valley, has announced its initial 2018 lineup. Highlights include Lightning Bolt, Grouper, an orchestral piece by Stephen O’Malley of Sunn O)))), Efrim Manuck of Godspeed! You Black Emperor, and a collaborative performance between the Haxan Cloak and Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
This year’s festival happens September 14-16. As always, it will take place at Basilica Hudson, a performance space in a renovated 19th-century factory in Hudson, NY. Tickets are available here.
