Yesterday the Stone Temple Pilots announced deluxe and super-deluxe reissues of their breakthrough debut album Core to mark its 25th anniversary. The second disc of the set, included in both editions, features demos and unreleased recordings from the album sessions. Today, the band has shared the first advance track: a demo of “Sex Type Thing” from that collection of material. The full version of the set also includes a live STP set from the Reading Festival and a California show, as well as the band’s MTV Unplugged session.
