The only thing more packed than the stage — complete with horns, a saxophone, and all the rest — when Saint Motel took over the Toyota Music Den was the crowd itself. The packed tent picked up on the buoyant, funky energy right from the start when frontman A/J Jackson got the crowd clapping in rhythm to “Feed Me Now” before starting an all-out dance party with their hit single “My Type.” But the real highlight was the band breaking out “Move,” a jazzy, Philadelphia-soul inspired track from this year’s saintmotelevison.
