Hudson Mohawke will soundtrack the new video game Watch Dogs 2, it was announced today. On November 11, he’ll also release his musical contributions as a full-length album, entitled Ded Sec – Watch Dogs 2 (OST), via Warp. Today, he shares “Shanghaied” from the soundtrack.
“Shanghaied” is immediately recognizable as a HudMo production, pairing a chintzy choral patch with one of his signature martial drum patterns. It probably wouldn’t scan as a video game score cue if you didn’t know it already. Listen below via Spotify.
