This morning, Toronto hardcore heroes Fucked Up surprised us with “This Mother Forever,” 45 minutes of new music packaged into a limited-run 12″ that may very well be sold out by the time you read this. Fortunately, it’s streaming on Bandcamp.
In grand Fucked Up fashion, the band recorded just two marathon-length songs that fill the entire record. The 15-minute title track features the band’s signature anthemic bashing bookended by guitar and keyboard ambience, while “Our Own Blood” is a half-hour collaboration with the contemporary Inuk throat singer Tanya Tagaq that the band originally released last year.
