Lucy Dacus’ Tender Tiny Desk Concert Is a Delightful Watch
Performing "I Don't Want to Be Funny Anymore" and more from 'No Burden'
Richmond, Virginia’s Lucy Dacus was recently picked up by Matador on the strength of her February album No Burden, one of SPIN’s favorite of 2016. She’s currently on tour, but she hit the NPR studios for today’s Tiny Desk Concert, performing No Burden songs “I Don’t Want to Be Funny Anymore,” “Direct Address,” and “Green Eyes, Red Face.”
The physical re-release of No Burden arrives September 9. Watch Dacus and her band perform for Tiny Desk Concerts below, and revisit the full album on Bandcamp.
