Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney Performed ‘Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town’ Together on ‘SNL’
Springsteen also played a pair of songs from his 'The River' box set at 30 Rockefeller Plaza
Saturday Night Live celebrated their last episode before a holiday break in grand fashion, with an episode hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler and musical performances from Bruce Springsteen. As you might expect, the Jersey icon performed a pair of tracks (“Meet Me in the City” and “The Ties That Bind”) to celebrate his recent box set reissue of The River, but he also had a Christmas surprise up his sleeve. His old pal Paul McCartney came out at the very end of the episode to jingle some bells along with the whole SNL cast during a heartwarming performance of “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town.” You can catch all three performances below.
