Fleetwood Mac Announce Expansive ‘Tusk’ Reissue

You might even call the forthcoming five-CD/two-LP/one-DVD set "elephantine"

Fleetwood Mac have yet to complete their On With the Show world tour — i.e., their first with singer/keyboardist Christine McVie since the ’90s. But now the classic pop staples have a new reason to celebrate: They’ve just announced a huge deluxe reissue of their 1979 double album, Tusk.

Stereogum reports that the collection, which spans five CDs, two LPs, and one DVD, will include the following: a remastered original album, demo, and remixes (previously released in 2004), 22 unreleased live tracks, various takes showing the development of “I Know I’m Not Wrong” and “Tusk,” a new version of the album comprising session outtakes called “Alternate Tusk,” a 5.1 surround mix of Tusk on DVD-audio, and more.

The deluxe package will be available on December 4 via Warner Bros. Check out the track list below, and pre-order it here.
