Wiz Khalifa Promises He Will ‘See You Again’ on ‘Saturday Night Live’

The Pittsburgh rapper's soundtrack hit heads to 30 Rockefeller Plaza

At the moment Wiz Khalifa’s sentimental Furious 7 soundtrack single “See You Again” is pretty much inescapable, which means of course that the Pittsburgh rapper made a stop by Saturday Night Live this weekend. The Scarlett Johannson-hosted episode also featured skits ribbing Justin Bieber’s friendship with Floyd Mayweather and reimagined Hozier’s “Take Me to Church” as a ballad about the site of the Kentucky Derby. But Khalifa was the night’s musical star, imbuing the ballad with the sort of heartfelt emotionality of the studio recording. The Taylor Gang head changed courses a bit for a performance of “We Dem Boyz,” which was every bit as uplifting as you might expect. Watch those performances both above and below.
