Not sure a Game of Thrones musical is what anybody wanted or needed, but Coldplay — Chris Martin to be precise — has put one together. Documented in the style of a Christopher Guest-esque mockumentary, the sketch was organized for a Red Nose Day TV special last night, and has Coldplay gathering in the studio writing jokey GoT songs (“You don’t mess around with Walder Frey”), then piling the show’s actors into the studio to record their own renditions (look out for Jon Snow, a.k.a. Kit Harington, singing “Wild Thing” to Ygritte, a.k.a. Rose Leslie). Watch it above.
