Dead Gaze crash a boozy evening get-together in the new music video for “Yuppies Are Flowers,” a highlight from the Mississippi outfit’s 2013 album, Brain Holiday. Cole Furlow, the project’s bushy-haired and bearded leader, stumbles around the yuppies’ nest with his sunglasses on (yes, he wears his shadesat night and inside) and using a flower as the microphone for his croons. Directed by Joseph Katool, the band’s video is a pretty fitting companion for the scuzzy power-pop anti-anthem. In short, Dead Gaze encourages you to ditch your inhibitions in the name of cheap beer and a good time.
