Green Day Stream Warm and Fuzzy ‘Tre’ in Full

Green Day Tre Stream Album Uno Dos

Finally, the third piece of the puzzle: Green Day’s ¡Tré! is streaming in full via iHeartRadio, despite frontman Billie Joe Armstrong’s, well, touchy relationship with the online streaming and broadcasting company. It was at their Las Vegas showcase, of course, that the punk-pop king went all enfant terrible on his guitar, smashing it while delineating the differences between his band and Justin Bieber. This album, officially out December 11, completes the Bay Area band’s LP trilogy, preceded, naturally, by ¡Uno! and ¡Dos! (although a ¡Quatro! documentary happened too). While ¡Tré! naturally continues Green Day’s return to garage-band basics, it has a warmer hue than the last one with hooky rockers like “Amanda” playing next to acoustic janglers like “Drama Queen.” Fans and haters alike might want to spend a little time with “Sex, Drugs & Violence,” looking for hints of the rehab stint that was to come. Listen to that here, and click through the rest over at iHeartRadio.
